Schmaus Engineering, LLC is a professional engineering firm headquartered in Plant City, Florida, licensed to practise engineering in the State of Florida. The firm is led by Nathan Schmaus, Florida Professional Engineer No. 74706.
Nothing on this website is engineering advice for a specific project.
3. Use of this website
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, interfere with its operation, submit false or misleading information through the contact form, or use automated means to submit inquiries.
4. Digital products — disclaimer and licence
The calculation templates, CAD and design automation workflows, project management tools, document templates, and policy documents offered by the firm (“digital products”) are provided for preliminary or educational purposes only.
They do not constitute final engineering design. They are not a substitute for engineering judgement. Every output must be independently verified, reviewed, and signed and sealed by a professional engineer licensed in the jurisdiction where the work is to be used, before it is relied upon for any site-specific, structural, or construction application.
Building codes, standards, and local requirements change and vary by jurisdiction. You are responsible for confirming that any use complies with the codes and requirements applicable to your project.
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, digital products are licensed for use by the purchasing or licensed organisation. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish them as your own.
5. No professional relationship
Submitting an inquiry, requesting a product, or corresponding with us through this website does not create an engineer-client relationship, and does not obligate the firm to perform services.
An engineering relationship is created only by a written agreement signed by the firm, defining the scope of services and the responsibilities of each party.
6. No warranty
This website and all digital products are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any content is complete, current, or accurate for your purposes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Schmaus Engineering, LLC and its principals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of this website or of any digital product.
Where liability cannot be excluded, the firm's total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid the firm for the digital product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or affects the firm's obligations under applicable professional licensing law.

All content on this website — text, graphics, logos, document templates, and digital products — is owned by Schmaus Engineering, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. The firm name and logo may not be used without written permission.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and the parties consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
